My main concern is of course the feeling of a complete loss of control with everything installed in the computer. Needless to say I shall be extremely skeptic to automatic driver updates in the future. ![]() ![]() Naturally I selected restoring my system, a process which lasted for hours and left my system empty of everything (documents, programs and applications that I had have installed.Įventually my system displayed information about several(?) unfinished driver installations, all of which I discarded as they popped up, and to my relief my system finally started up again fully restored to its original state. The update to 'Realtek high definition Audio driver' failed with error code -0001: 'No driver was supported by this driver package'. Under Sound, video and game controllers, you will find High Definition Audio Device or Realtek High Definition Audio. Here, expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click on the Start menu button and select Device Manager. Today I 'accepted' a recommended update to three allegedly outdated drivers in my system. First, we will check if it’s the driver issue or not. ![]()
